Governor John Lynch is experiencing a well-deserved loss of public support. In fact, according to WMUR, his approval rating is down 15 points from last year.
This is no wonder as New Hampshire voters are coming to realize that John Lynch has repeatedly lied to us.
Until the day he signed New Hampshire’s gay marriage law last year, Gov. John Lynch expressed great ambivalence about the issue. Though he had said he personally opposed letting same-sex couples marry, Lynch eventually supported the measure as a civil rights matter. One year later, Lynch was welcomed as a guest speaker at a national conference of wealthy gay donors focused on furthering the cause of equality for gay and lesbian people.

John Lynch lied to us when he said during his 2008 campaign, “I am not looking at increasing the business taxes.”
In fact, Lynch proposed and enacted his “LLC Tax” which costs New Hampshire businesses millions.

The truth is that Lynch has increased state spending by 27% in the past two years.

John Lynch lied to us in his State of the State speech earlier this year when he said, “We balanced the budget.”
In fact, Lynch drained the state’s “rainy day” fund and raided the malpractice fund to cover his exorbitant spending.

When John Lynch sought our votes in 2006, he said, “I do not support gay marriage.”
That, too, was a lie. Lynch signed the gay marriage bill into law.
